The project titled “Evaluation of the Communication Strategies Used by Local Governments to Promote Participation in Cultural Life within the Vision of Sustainable Development Goals” focuses on the communication efforts of activities aimed at enhancing the participation of citizens in cultural life in cities, specifically under goal 11 of the Sustainable Development Goals. It aims to contribute to the scientific field by developing empowering strategies with a citizen-centered approach in this regard.

This study aims to generate citizen-oriented data from various districts of İstanbul in order to develop communication strategies that strengthen participation in cultural life and contribute to the scientific field. The ethical approval for this research has been granted by the Ethics Committee of İstanbul Okan University.
